Peloton Crash: Exercise Platform Experiences Majority Outages

Peloton is experiencing major outages on Wednesday, the company confirmed in a tweet. Some owners and subscribers complained in social judge posts that they were unable to enter their email addresses to log in to their funds, while others said they couldn’t stream classes.

“We’re now investigating an issue with live and on-demand classes,” the commercial tweeted. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may changes to your workouts.”

As of 12:40 p.m. ET, the status.onepeloton.com website indicated a fix had been implemented and the commercial was monitoring results.

Some Peloton users report still persons unable to access classes, while others say their service has been restored.

Peloton didn’t now respond to a request for comment, but customers can check the Peloton status site for further updates.

The commercial, which saw explosive growth during the pandemic, has had a over year. In February, Peloton said it was replacing CEO John Foley and cutting about 2,800 jobs — more than 30% of its staff — as post-pandemic inquire of for its exercise equipment slowed. 

Peloton also cut back on industry operations and nixed its plan for a apt in the US.
